Rumors that ICANN is looking at a possibility of having some new TLDs find more ground after it came to public awareness that ICANN is exploring potential faults of domain name TLDs that would resemble file extensions. On the agenda there are: .EXE, TXT, .PDF, .MP3 and .ZIP among others.

Video.us Domain Name Changes Hands Again

The hapless domain name Video.us has changed hands once again. It was purchased in April, 2007 by a European company, which paid $75,000 for it. That was the biggest .us sale this far. Then the most extraordinary thing happened and the domain name was dropped where it was catched by the famous Pool.com.
